Is summer actually here? I see a bright orb in the sky and I feel the warmth on my skin. I waited with 200 other people at rush hour for the Fremont Bridge to go down. The Mariners have already had a couple tailspins. Seattle summer must be happening!
You know what that means? Summer Solstice, naked cyclists and margaritas on the deck at El Camino!
Got the kids with you? We’ll roll up the garage doors out front and in the back so you can get your margarita on in our dining room and the summer breeze will flow on through. Summer breeeeeze, make me feel fine, flowing through the jasmine in my mi-ii-ind… Sorry, I went to Cabo for a second. I suggest you do the same the next time you’re in Fremont.
Leave the bustling city behind and step into El Camino. Relax and enjoy a shrimp quesadilla or some street tacos de carne asada. Escape to your own little Mexican moment.
And don’t forget to visit us during Summer Solstice Weekend (shirt and shoes required:(). The famous Fremont Solstice Parade is on Saturday, June 17. The nude bicyclists start at noon (basically outside our front door), but the Fremont Fair lasts all weekend with music*, food, arts & crafts and, of course, margaritas.
Make some time for a Mexican moment this summer at El Camino. We can’t wait to see your smile.
*The live music goes from 11am to 9pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
