Authentic Mexican - All House-Made, All The Time!

El Camino in Fremont offers covered and heated outdoor seating in addition to limited indoor dining 7 days a week. We are open every week night for dinner and brunch and dinner on the weekends!

Since 1996, El Camino has served traditional Mexican dishes to Seattle in a lively, inviting atmosphere. We proudly use only the freshest ingredients (organic & local whenever possible) to bring the vibrant flavors of Oaxaca and southern Mexico to the Great Northwest.

Private Dining

Our back deck is fitted for any season with sliding open-air garage-doors and a cozy fireplace. Make reservations for private parties year-round. We can accommodate 35-40 guests for sit-down private dining or up to 50 for standing cocktails & bites. Reserve the entire restaurant for up to 150 people. *Restaurant capacity may be reduced due to restrictions in place by the State of Washington for COVID-19 Best Practices.

Welcome to el Camino

El Camino Mexican restaurant & cantina has been a fixture in the popular Fremont neighborhood of Seattle for more than 25 years. Located beside the iconic “Rocket” at the corner of Evanston & N 35th, El Camino serves authentic, homemade Mexican cuisine that honors the vibrant, fresh flavors of Oaxaca and southern Mexico.

Our traditional margaritas are not only famous city-wide, but they are the perfect accompaniment to our rich, spicy bistec de capitalino or the Northwest fusion of wild sockeye salmon in tamarindo sauce. Try one of our unforgettable appetizers, like our four-cheese shrimp quesadilla or plantain chips with succulent house-made guacamole. We even make our traditional desserts in-house.

As one of the premiere independent Mexican restaurants in Seattle, El Camino’s eclectic, seductive atmosphere transports guests from our bustling urban neighborhood (with great local shopping!) to a well-deserved Mexican vacation. Relax. Escape. Enjoy at El Camino.
